A&E Hospice Care welcomes Dr. Tim Martin to our
full-time staff.
As medical director, Dr. Martin serves as a liason
between A&E Hospice and the physicians in the A&E
service area. Dr. Martin is available to assist in
the provision of palliative care to terminally ill
patients, and in the case of a patient without an
attending physician, he will provide direct patient
care. This sometimes includes visiting the patient
in his/her home.
Since
entering "semi-retirement in 2003, Dr. Martin has worked
as a locum tenens at numerous locations throughout
Alabama. In December of 2005, Dr. Martin joined
A&E Hospice as full-time medical director.
